Description

Associative Press is a game about the inherent bias in news. In the game, you play as a cameraman for a news network. Each day, you are sent to the scene of a wartime event, be it a rally or execution. Depending on what is filmed, the bias of the country will shift either towards the Loyalists, who want to keep the current president in power, or the Rebels, who are fighting for change in government.

History

Early history

ChARADE was founded in late 2015 for a project pitched by Dustin Pfeiffer. Associative Press gained new life as more and more members were added to the team, and has evolved greatly from its original idea. Associative Press's engine, built from the ground up using the SFML library, and eye-catching graffiti-style art with propaganda-based colors were only made possible by the wonderful team put together.
